In collaboration with Google News lab and Truth & Beauty, “Rhythm of food” has been developed as a tool that analyzes the search behavior for food, dishes and ingredients over many years. It visualizes the results in a kind of “annual clock” ( This illustration shows how search trends for different food have changed between 2004 and 2016.
Not only seasonal effects over time are seen, but also increasing or decreasing popularity of food – conditioned by cultural, social or personal phenomena.
